Le Pitch

Présentation de l'éditeur The bestselling paranormal action adventure manga series Bleach continues in novel form as an all-new threat arises! The Quincies’ Thousand Year Blood War is over, but the embers of turmoil still smolder in the Soul Society. Tokinada Tsunayashiro, elevated to head of his clan after a slew of assassinations take out every other claimant to the title, has a grand plan to create a new Soul King. His dark ambitions soon sow the seeds of a new total war across the realms, but all is not lost. There is one unlikely Soul Reaper who holds the key to defusing the conflict―Shuhei Hisagi, Assistant Captain of the Ninth Company and reporter for the Seireitei Bulletin! Hikone Ubugino and Tokinada Tsunayashiro’s combined powers make a mockery of the strongest of the Soul Reapers, Arrancars, Quincies, and Fullbringers in this epic conclusion to the Can't Fear Your Own World arc! As the Soul Society’s secrets are brought to light, the full terror of Tokinada’s plan is revealed. In the midst of this, Shuhei Hisagi discovers the true ability of his zanpaku-to and the meaning of its name. Can a blade that controls death also sever the consequences of death? A host of powerful characters―including Kenpachi Zaraki and Grimmjow Zaraki Jeagerjaques―make an appearance in the decisive battle, and the volume is complemented by a generous selection of Tite Kubo illustrations! Contributor Bio(s) Biographie de l'auteur Bleach is author Tite Kubo’s second title. Kubo made his debut with ZOMBIEPOWDER., a four-volume series for Weekly Shonen Jump. To date, Bleach has been translated into numerous languages and has also inspired an animated TV series that began airing in Japan in 2004. Beginning its serialization in 2001, Bleach is still a mainstay in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. In 2005, Bleach was awarded the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen (boys) category. Ryohgo Narita took his first stab at manga in 2014 with his Weekly Shonen Jump series Stealth Symphony.
